So rumour has it and this is just rumour for now that something bad is going to happen to Hawkeye and his family in Avengers 3. The rumour has it that this tragic event changes Clint and he no longer assumes the mantle of Hawkeye.
The mantle he assumes is rumoured to be Ronin ! This is apparently meant to happen in Avengers 4 after he runs off to Japan
Now this is all just rumour it could all be crap, but if you're interested Clint becomes Ronin in 2004's New Avengers 27.
